Playa del Carmen is one of the fastest growing cities in Latin America. Playacar is a master planned community in Playa del Carmen with large resorts, a golf course, shopping, an outdoor aviary as well as some beautiful homes and condominiums. Paseo del Sol is Playacar’s newest luxury condominium complex. With only 65 units in the complex, a huge swimming pool, tennis court, business center, terrace bar, gym and lush landscaping backing up to the 1st tee of the golf course – this is a very desirable place to vacation.

A car isn’t necessary in Playa del Carmen. You can fly to Cancun and take a bus, shuttle or private taxi to our home. We are located approximately 40 miles (about an hour) from Cancun. The cheapest mode of transportation, a bus, can be taken from the Cancun airport for $8/per person. It deposits you in the center of 5th Avenue. For another $5 (total, not per person) you can take a taxi to Paseo del Sol. The shuttles run $16 per person. Taxis are available and plentiful. If you are out dining and shopping and don’t feel like walking home or have groceries and packages, the standard cab fare from ‘town’ to Playacar is $5.00. All activities outside of Playa del Carmen usually involve a shuttle or bus priced in with the tickets. You can rent scooters, ride bicycles or walk on pedestrian walk ways throughout the area. Another note, all cabs, and most restaurants and shops will accept American dollars or credit cards. You can exchange for pesos if you like but it isn’t required.

With the great views, spacious interiors and wonderful pool and resort amenities, Paseo del Sol is a quiet, lovely place to relax. The Reef Club and town are conveniently located and will provide the activities and fun for which the area is so well known.
